DIY Wedding planning basics (start working on this NOW)

You just got engaged, CONGRATS! What’s first? There are so many different things to plan for your wedding, it’s totally overwhelming! You could totally just start willy nilly planning different elements – like a cake! But how much cake would you need? Or what kind of car you want to take you from the ceremony to the reception! Or will both of those be at the same venue? Or your colour scheme! But who needs to know about the colour scheme?

SO. I’ve got 5 things that will make planning a zillion times easier for you, because everything is going to come from the following elements, so the earlier you have this info, the better.

So where DO you start when you’re planning a DIY wedding?

Aside from your vision for a perfect day, you can begin with your budget, guest count, venue, date, and then which people are doing what, like your parents, your bridal party, your siblings etc.

  5. Know which people are doing what
